Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for improving requisitions governance and processes to ensure Budgetary compliance of beIN Media Group spend.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Review requisitions and ensure are completed in-time and in accordance to beIN policy.
• Analyze and present financial and non-financial performance for beIN management.
• Conduct monthly reporting meeting with end-user to review financial and non-financial performance.
• Conduct Annual Budget Setting exercise and prepare required reports to present end-user needs to beIN senior management.
• Become familiar with beIN Media Group reporting templates and ensure these are completed as required.
• Process budget transfer journals when required. • Increase depth and scope of Requisitions service to capture more beIN Media Group Spend events and contract reviews.
• Perform such other tasks or duties which may, from time to time, be assigned inclusive of (but not limited to) acting as stand in for other team members during periods of absence
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with management guidance.
• Ensure the Team Leader & Head of section is kept updated on workload and issues lists
• Oversee Financial and Assistant Financial Analysts in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports processes.
• Assist staff to resolve complex or out-of-policy operational problems.
• Participate in staff annual goals.
• Participate as an active member of the beIN Media Group’s committees, as needed.
• Perform such other tasks or duties which may, from time to time, be assigned inclusive of (but not limited to) acting as stand in for other team members during periods of absence
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with management guidance
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Education: Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is a must. Professional certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of related experience. Experience in the media industry is preferred.
