NBA AND beIN SPORTS EXTEND BROADCAST AND DIGITAL PARTNERSHIP IN FRANCE THROUGH TO 2024
- Multiyear Agreement Highlighted by Christmas Day Games, Live Primetime Games, and Bespoke NBA Programming -
LONDON, PARIS, Dec. 21, 2020 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and beIN SPORTS today announced a multiyear expansion of their broadcast and digital partnership that extends to a now decade-long collaboration. As part of the agreement and ahead of the start of the 2020-21 season that tips off on Dec. 22, beIN SPORTS will also continue to host the NBA’s official online destination in France www.nba.com/france.
Since 2012, beIN has helped the NBA revolutionize its visibility and popularity in France, through season-long live games, dedicated NBA programming, events and innovative campaigns.
As part of the new partnership, beIN SPORTS France will broadcast 20 weekend primetime games in the ‘first-half’ of the NBA season, with the ‘second-half’ of the schedule to be announced at a later date. The NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays presented by NBA 2K21 primetime game programming will include the ever popular Saturday Night Live and Sunday Night Live studio shows. Other highlights for the 2020-21 season include:
